Trump’s “Operation Remigration” Is Here

Donald Trump is no longer flirting with fascism—he’s deploying it.

On June 15th, the former president and presumptive GOP nominee took to Truth Social to order federal agencies—ICE, Border Patrol, FBI, DEA, ATF, the Pentagon, and even the State Department—to carry out what he calls the “single largest Mass Deportation Program in History.”

His target? Major U.S. cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York—places he labels as “Democrat Power Centers” and “infested” by “millions upon millions” of undocumented people.

In his own words, these cities are the “core of the Democrat voter base,” and the mission of ICE is to stop “Mass Destruction Migration” and restore “domestic tranquility.” He calls this effort a war on chaos. But what it actually is—plain and simple—is a war on people.

What Trump Just Ordered:

  • ICE must detain at least 3,000 people per day, immediately

  • Raids are to focus on Democratic-run cities, especially “Sanctuary Cities”

  • Trump is deploying the National Guard and Marines to aid civilian immigration enforcement

  • Federal agencies, including the FBI, DEA, ATF, and Pentagon, are ordered to support mass arrests

  • “Remigration” becomes the official term for mass expulsion

  • These raids will hit cities with the largest populations of undocumented immigrants—many of them families, workers, and legal residents with mixed-status households

  • And the goal? According to Trump, it’s to “reverse the tide” and “cleanse” America of “illegal alien crime, conflict, and chaos”

Let’s be clear: This is not about border security.

This is about building a mass detention and deportation machine across U.S. cities—and treating immigrants as enemy combatants.

ICE Is Already Broke—But Trump Wants Billions More

Here’s the kicker: ICE doesn’t even have the funds to sustain this.

  • The agency is currently $1 billion over budget

  • Its director warned that funding will be exhausted within months

  • Trump is demanding $75 billion in emergency money over 5 years

  • If Congress refuses, he’s threatening a National Emergency declaration to funnel funds from other agencies

That means money for schools, housing, infrastructure, and disaster response could be diverted to fund migrant roundups.

Let’s Be Honest: This Was Never About “Illegal vs. Legal”

Let’s kill the myth once and for all.

This was never about doing things the “right way.” It was never about paperwork, process, or even crime.

Trump supporters call this operation a way to “clean the country of criminals.” But facts don’t care about their racism:

  • Undocumented immigrants are about 50% less likely to commit crimes than U.S.-born citizens

  • Legal immigrants are 74% less likely to be arrested for violent offenses

  • Meanwhile, the #1 national security threat identified by DHS and the FBI?

    White supremacist extremism.

So why aren’t we seeing ICE agents busting down the doors of Russian mafia homes in Brighton Beach?

Why no crackdowns on the Italian mob in Jersey, Queens, and Boston?

You think the government doesn’t know where they are?

They do. They don’t want to touch them.

This “cleaning” campaign isn’t about criminals.

It’s about color.

If you’re white and European, you’re seen as “potential.”

If you’re brown, Muslim, or speak Spanish, you’re seen as a threat.

That’s not law enforcement. That’s modern apartheid.

The Lie Behind “Make America Great Again”

Let’s talk about the sacred cow of MAGA.

What does “Make America Great Again” actually mean?

It means going back to a time when:

  • Women couldn’t vote or own credit cards

  • Black people were “separate but equal” (read: segregated and silenced)

  • Latinos were deported by the millions during the Great Depression

  • Asian Americans were banned from naturalization

  • Indigenous families were erased by government policy

So when Trump talks about “greatness,” he’s talking about a version of America that was only “great” for white, landowning, Christian, heterosexual cis men.

It’s not about building something better.

It’s about restoring a racial and gender hierarchy where whiteness equals ownership—and everyone else is disposable.

Resistance Is Already Underway

But this story isn’t one-sided.

  • Protests have erupted in L.A., Portland, NYC, and Chicago under the “No Kings” movement

  • Tear gas, rubber bullets, and mass arrests have followed

  • Legal challenges have been filed by multiple states and civil rights organizations

  • Cities and shelters are mobilizing—but they’re overwhelmed

Every day, more people are asking what it means to be American in a country that treats its immigrants like invaders and its citizens like collateral.

This Is State Violence, Not Policy

Let’s drop the euphemisms.

This isn’t “border control.”

This isn’t about “safety.”

This isn’t about “following the law.”

This is about control.

It’s about race.

It’s about erasure.

And it’s happening in real time.

The same ICE agents targeting migrants today can be used against protestors, journalists, and political opponents tomorrow.

This machine doesn’t stop at the border—it grows until we all feel it breathing down our necks.

The only thing standing in its way is us.
