Let’s start with the news you didn’t see on cable:
Levi Austin Frakes and Charles Ethan Fields, two white men in Washington state, were arrested after a violent attempted theft at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Authorities say they had an entire arsenal:
• Dozens of guns
• Homemade explosives
• Body armor
• And they nearly killed a U.S. soldier with a hammer to get it.
This wasn’t some petty crime. This was an act of terror, plain and simple. But instead of headlines screaming about national security threats, immigration reform, or “law and order,” the media shrugged. Why? Because these men weren’t brown. They weren’t foreign. They were white. And they were Nazis.
Who They Are
Charles Ethan Fields— Served in the U.S. Army from Feb 2017 to Jul 2021. Deployed twice to Afghanistan (Sept 2018-Feb 2019 and Oct-Nov 2019), left service as a sergeant. Assigned to the 75th Ranger Battalion around 2021. His hat, found at the scene, had "Fields" sewn inside, confirming his identity.
Levi Austin Frakes— Also a veteran, possibly Marine -exact details are unconfirmed, but credibility is supported by social media presence and business registrations. He’s also Co-owner of "Sovereign Solutions," a company selling extremist training gear under an NS symbolism ("SS" lightning-bolt logo).
Evidence found at their home
• Roughly 35 firearms, including short-barreled rifles and an MG42 machine gun.
• Explosives: smoke grenades, blasting caps, incendiary devices.
• Body armor, helmets, communications gear, night-vision scopes.
• White supremacist paraphernalia: Swastika flags, SS lightning-bolt flags, murals, heavy Nazi literature.
• About $24,000 in cash, suspected proceeds from years of stolen military gear
Alleged motive & operation
• The pair reportedly stole military-grade gear “for about two years,” intending to sell or trade these items.
• Used their veteran status to bypass base security—Fields’ entry logs and camera footage confirm access via main gate.
• Their LinkedIn and business records hinted at affiliation with extremist networks and military-training circles.
Legal status
• Charges: They face federal charges including robbery, assault, and theft of government property. There are also likely state-level charges for possession of explosives, illegal firearms (short-barreled rifles, a machine gun), and incendiary devices.
• Bail: Each was held in Thurston County Jail on a $500,000 bond
If they were immigrants, this country would be in full meltdown mode. But because they were white supremacists? You probably just heard about it right now.
This Isn’t a One-Off. It’s a Pattern.
These aren’t isolated cases—they’re part of a violent, well-documented domestic terror movement that the FBI and over 380 police departments have confirmed is the #1 threat to U.S. national security:
White supremacist extremism.
And yet every time there’s a mass shooting, an attack on a synagogue, a bombing plot, or another “militia” raid, the same formula follows:
• Downplay the motive
• Humanize the perpetrator
• Blame mental illness
• Move on
But if the suspect isn’t white?
• We get 24/7 coverage
• Politicians panic
• Policies get drafted
• And whole communities get blamed
Every Accusation Is a Confession
Trump and his base love to scream about caravans, crime, and culture wars. But when it comes to Nazis? Suddenly, the “law and order” crowd is silent. Or worse—complicit.
Remember:
• He told the Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by.”
• Called white nationalists “very fine people”
• And consistently attacks immigrants, Black Americans, and trans youth with more fury than he’s ever shown toward actual terrorists with swastikas on their walls.
So when Trump points fingers at everyone but white supremacists, believe him—because every accusation from his mouth is a confession.
The Threat Has Always Been White Supremacy
Let’s get this straight once and for all:
• It wasn’t immigrants who bombed the Oklahoma City federal building.
• It wasn’t Black Lives Matter who shot up a Pittsburgh synagogue.
• It wasn’t drag queens who planned to storm the Capitol on January 6.
• It wasn’t asylum seekers who stockpiled bombs and body armor in Washington.
It’s white nationalists. It’s Nazis. It’s militias. And it has always been this way.
You can track every major act of domestic terror over the last 30 years, and you’ll find the same root again and again: white supremacy.
Silence is Permission
If we keep allowing the media and political leaders to ignore or downplay this threat, we are green-lighting more attacks. More bombs. More blood.
Trump might pardon these men someday. He’s done worse. He’s shown sympathy for worse.
We have to stop waiting for mainstream media or elected officials to grow a spine. We call it what it is. We raise the alarm. We name the threat.
And when they say “migrant crisis,” you say:
What about the armed Nazis in our backyard?
